1. Introduction

SportsCoachPal ("we", "us" or "our") is an AI-powered sports coaching platform for soccer, cricket and basketball coaches. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have about your information.

2. Information we collect

• Account information: When you create an account we collect your email address, password, full name, club or school name (optional) and the sport you coach (optional). If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address and provider user identifier from that provider. Apple may provide a private relay email address instead of your personal email.
• Profile information: You may optionally add a coaching licence, profile photo, favourite formation and primary team. Club admins may add a club name, motto, logo and club colours.
• Content you create: We store the training sessions, drills, session diagrams, teams, players, line-ups, matches, scheduled sessions, attendance records, club details and favourites you create or save in the app.
• Usage and plan information: We record how many AI training sessions you generate each month, your current plan (Free, Pro, Club or Founder), billing status and your appearance/accessibility preferences so the app works consistently across devices.
• Communications: We send account emails such as sign-up confirmations, password resets, email-change requests and club invitations from our domain notify.sportscoachpal.com.au using Lovable's email infrastructure.
• Technical information: Our hosting and database providers may automatically log technical data such as your IP address, browser type and request timestamps as part of delivering the service and keeping it secure.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Create and authenticate your account and keep you signed in.
• Generate, save and display your AI training sessions and diagrams.
• Provide team, player, match and calendar features.
• Manage your subscription, enforce plan limits and process payments.
• Respond to your support requests and keep the service secure.
• Remember your appearance and accessibility settings across sessions.

4. How we store and protect your data

Your data is stored in Supabase, our backend database provider, which is managed through Lovable Cloud. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS. We rely on industry-standard access controls, Row Level Security policies and authentication checks so that you can only access data you own or that has been shared with your club.

Payment information is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit or debit card details. Stripe provides us with a customer identifier, subscription status and billing history so we can manage your plan.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. We use localStorage and essential session storage to keep you signed in and to remember UI preferences such as sidebar state and theme settings. A small essential cookie may be set for sidebar layout state. The app loads fonts from Google Fonts; Google's servers may receive your IP address when those fonts are requested.

6. Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers we use to run SportsCoachPal:

• Lovable — hosting, authentication, email delivery and AI generation gateway.
• Supabase — database, authentication and file storage.
• Stripe — payment processing, billing and subscription management.
• Google and Apple — only when you choose to sign in with those providers, limited to the information they share with us.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with advertisers.

7. AI-generated content

When you generate a training session, your inputs are sent to Lovable's AI Gateway to produce a session plan, coaching points and optional diagrams. The generated content is saved to your account so you can view, edit, print and reuse it. AI output is provided as a coaching aid and should be reviewed before use.

8. Your choices and rights

You can:

• Update your profile, club branding and appearance settings in Settings.
• Export or print your training sessions from inside the app.
• Cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe billing portal.
• Request a copy of your data, correct inaccurate information, or ask us to delete your account and data by emailing sportscoachpal@gmail.com.

9. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove your personal data and user-created content within a reasonable period, unless we are required to keep it for legal purposes. Some anonymised or aggregated data may be retained for service-improvement purposes.

10. Children's privacy

SportsCoachPal is intended for coaches and sports clubs. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of SportsCoachPal after changes means you accept the revised policy.
